Storage Policy, Which Is a List of One Thing
This page is called a storage policy rather than a cookie policy because the site sets no cookies at all. What it does have is a single entry in your own browser, and the entry is named below.
Cookies
This site sets none. Not a session cookie, not a preference cookie, not an analytics cookie, not an advertising cookie. There is no cookie banner on this site because there are no cookies to consent to.
What there is instead is a notice about local storage, and it sits in the flow of the page under the masthead rather than floating over the content, which is why it never covers anything.

Nothing about that entry identifies you, and it never leaves your browser. It is not sent to this site, it is not sent to anybody else, and this publication cannot read it: only the page running in your browser can.
Both buttons on the notice do the same amount of storing, which is one entry. They differ only in what they record, and the second one exists so that a reader who wants to refuse anything optional has something to press. Since nothing optional exists on this site, the practical effect is the same, and saying so is more honest than pretending there is a meaningful choice.
What the flight search does
While you type into the search, nothing is stored and nothing is sent. The place suggestions come from a file that arrived with the page.
When you press the button, you are handed to an outside booking service on a subdomain of this site, with one query string. From that point their storage and their policies apply, and they are likely to set their own items in your browser, because a booking system needs to. That is theirs, this publication has no control over it and does not receive it, and we would rather say so than imply a reach we do not have.
If you never press the button, nothing of theirs is ever placed. There is no third party script on any page of this site.
What is not stored, anywhere
- No analytics identifier, no session identifier, no visitor identifier.
- No advertising identifier, no pixel, no tag, no conversion record.
- No reading history, no article list, no scroll position, no preference other than the one above.
- No account, no login, no password, and nothing that could be joined to a person.
- No form contents. What you type into the letter form is not kept in your browser and is not kept on this site.
How to remove it
Clear site data for this domain in your browser settings, and the single entry goes with it. The storage notice will then appear once more, which is the only visible consequence.
Nothing on this site breaks if you block local storage entirely. The notice will appear on each visit because there is nowhere to record that you have seen it, and everything else works exactly as before.
Do not track and global privacy signals
There is nothing here to switch off. This site does no tracking, so a browser signal asking it not to has nothing to act on, and the site does not sell personal information or run targeted advertising.
If this changes
If this site ever places anything else, this page is rewritten first, the privacy policy is rewritten with it, and the notice reappears once so a returning reader sees there is something new. That order is deliberate: the policy changes before the behavior, not after it.
